• Water-insoluble silicones: They can build up on the hair, weighing it down and creating a film that is difficult to wash off.
• Paraffin and mineral oils: They create a greasy film that is detrimental to the bonds (especially in the sandwich and keratin methods) – they can cause the strands to slip.
