Hair extension refit

How to maintain the original effect?

Important: tightening alone is not enough

While wearing, some hair naturally sheds. Therefore, with each visit, the volume may decrease. To keep the hair thick and looking like after the first visit, it's worth replenishing missing strands when tightening.

HH Nano Blend®

Our proprietary keratin method with hidden nano bonds. The strands are wrapped with your natural hair, ensuring that:

  • the bonds remain virtually invisible,
  • the effect is maximally natural,
  • the method is safe and comfortable for everyday wear.

This is an excellent choice for those who value individually tailored strands and a lasting effect.

HH SKIN TAPE®

A modern method based on ultra-thin "skin effect" tapes that blend into the hair and remain almost invisible.

HH SKIN TAPE® is the ideal solution for those who:

  • want to shorten their salon visit time,
  • dream of spectacular volume,
  • don't want their hair to shorten during subsequent adjustments,
  • are looking for a more affordable solution while maintaining Hollywood Hair quality.

Both methods use Hollywood Hair premium hair and are performed by certified stylists in our salons.

Hair should be brushed gently, starting from the ends and gradually working your way up.

We recommend using a special brush without balls on the ends, from Hollywood Hair, which is safe for bonds.


Can you sleep with wet hair extensions?

We do not recommend sleeping with wet hair.

This can lead to:

tangled strands
weakened bonds
worsened hair condition

It is always best to thoroughly dry your hair before bed.

Some cosmetics containing alcohol can dry out hair and weaken the bonds.

Therefore, we recommend using products from Hollywood Hair designed for hair extensions, which:

moisturize
protect the hair structure
prolong the durability of the effect

Hollywood Hair Uplift Methods

Regular maintenance of hair extensions helps to preserve their beautiful appearance, wearing comfort, and the safety of natural hair. The frequency of uplifts depends on the chosen method.

HH Nano Blend®

We recommend performing uplifts (maintenance) approximately every 1.5–4 months.

Regular visits allow for:

  • maintaining wearing comfort,
  • preserving the aesthetic appearance of the hairstyle,
  • preventing tangling and shifting of bonds.

HH SKIN TAPE®

We recommend performing uplifts (maintenance) approximately every 6–10 weeks.

During maintenance, the tapes are safely removed, prepared, and reattached closer to the hair roots. A major advantage of the HH SKIN TAPE® method is that the hair does not shorten during subsequent uplifts, allowing you to enjoy the same length and beautiful effect for a long time.

Regular maintenance ensures:

  • an aesthetic and natural look of the hairstyle,
  • maximum wearing comfort,
  • durability of the method,
  • safety of natural hair.
