The most common mistakes after hair extensions and how to avoid them
Hair extensions can fulfill your dreams of long, thick locks—but only if you care for them properly. As an expert with thousands of transformations under her belt, I warn you: mistakes after getting extensions can cost you the health of your natural hair and the results you've been longing for.

It's not just a matter of aesthetics. Neglecting hair care can lead to damage to natural strands, scalp problems, and even the need to remove hair extensions altogether. At Hollywood Hair, we prioritize educating our clients, so we've compiled the most common mistakes and how to avoid them.
TOP 5 ERRORS
1. Washing your hair with your head down – this causes tangling, excessive tension in the joints, and the risk of them loosening. Always wash your hair in the shower, with your head upside down.
2. Too infrequent brushing – hair extensions require regular brushing, at least three times a day, with a special brush without balls at the ends. Such brushes are available in our online store: www.hollywoodhair.pl and in every stationary salon .
3. Using oils and products containing SLS at the roots – oily products at the roots can weaken the adhesive and cause the strands or tapes to slip. Care products containing SLS and strong cleansing detergents dry out the skin, which in turn leads to weakening of the hair follicles.
4. Going to sleep with wet hair – moisture on the scalp promotes the growth of bacteria and fungi, which leads to inflammation and dandruff.
5. Lack of regular corrections – regrowth beyond 8-12 weeks causes the regrowth above the strand to become matted, which can lead to permanent damage.
